An analysis of Saturday’s run off election. There were a total of 60 precincts that covered both the ACC and Cedar Park races. All 60 had the Austin Community College place 6 run off. Of that 60, 13 of the precincts also included the Cedar Park City Council place 5 run off
The 13 precincts in the Cedar Park run off had a turn out of only 619 votes. Our precinct 201 had a total of 58 (yes-fifty eight!) votes. That’s out of about 330 voters in our precinct that consistently vote Republican.
In the 60 precincts that were in this election, there are some 155,460 names as registered voters. Out of that total, there were only 969 votes, that’s less than 1%.
Fortunately, Don Tracy won with 339 votes to 280, or about 55% to 45%.
IF we could just get out the Republican vote in our precinct, we could have also won the ACC election. The Uber Liberal won by 491 votes to 376.
If you voted, thank you. If you didn’t……… The next election is coming up in November. Please help me to get the vote out.
