Will this summer be a pivot point in history as was August of 1914? An interesting interview with Major General Paul E. Vallely, US Army Retired.

Perhaps you remember a few years ago when someone in the US intelligence community released an Intelligence Estimate. It indicated that Iran had suspended their nuclear bomb program. The Democrats and their lap dogs in the so called “legacy media” used that report to bludgeon poor GW. They said that his warnings about Iran’s nuclear program were all lies to justify an attack on Iran. Today we appear to be on the brink of nuclear war in the mid-east. Thanks to the Democrats.
Back in ’73, the Arab armies of Egypt and Syria attacked Israel in what is called the “Yom Kippur” war. It caught Israel by surprise and it was a close fought war. It looked like Israel might loose and they asked the US for re-supply.
All of the most Learned People in the State Department, including Kissinger, advised caution lest we offend the Arabs. But Nixon felt that our only ally and the only democracy in the region deserved our support. The story goes that he asked Kissinger what the Israelis had asked for. Kissinger gave him the list and Nixon told Kissinger to double it. When there was a delay getting the supplies to Israel, Nixon wanted to know what the hold up was. He was told that the Pentagon couldn’t decide which type of airplane to use. Nixon replied use them all.
With all of the bowing and scraping and apologizing that “I AM the one we have been waiting for” has done and all of his empty deadlines and threats, the Arab tyrants have no respect for him. Can you blame them? By any stretch of the imagination can you envision the first Arab-American President, born and raised as a Moslem, defending Israel? Especially, one that has defined his foreign policy by feckless waffling?

PS I wonder why we haven’t heard anything about this in the so-called “legacy media”?
PPS. WWI started in August, 1914. We are still suffering the consequences of that war.
